Corrosion control of pipe line system has gained the full attention of pipeline owners. The primary reason , a side from government regulations , is the fact that corrosion is the most devastating problem aside from damage by excovation equipment. Fusion Bonded epoxy coatings were introduced in 1959 as the primary defense against corrosion and have grown rapidly in acceptance since then. This growth is attributable to the superior performance over conventional thermoplastic coatings.
